Had several calls from this number to my pay as you go Orange phone. Said I wasn t interested in any deals. The caller got stroppy and since then I have not had any network coverage and my SIM card is locked! Coincidence?? I have phoned Orange who are not at all helpful and are just trying to sell me stuff and cutting me off when I refuse!! I don t know who these people are, still at least I won t get any more calls from them to my mobile!!

Is presumably a dialling machine. A-since silent calls are an offence under the Communications Act, why no prosecution? and B- since it s a UK number, why hasn t it been suppressed by the regulator?

When pressed he said his name was Liam "me sir", yes, liam Meesir. Obviously didn t want to give his real name. Called about my EE contract. When I asked (always good to answer a question with a question) what his phone number was he said he could not give out that information. so I hung up and blocked the caller. Suggest everybody does the same.

Called my elderly mum lying to her saying her washing machine insurance with D&G was ending. NOT ENDING! Spoke about a direct debit and then tried taking a one off payment from her?!?! From my knowledge in working in contact centres/sales I told her to stop the call and to do some research. SCAMMERS trying to rip off anyone they can. Pushy sales, can t even imagine what the service is like once you ve actually signed up!
