Received a call from 01618186978 at 11:18am today. The man introduce himself as David Parker, who cannot even spell his name and with an Indian accent. He claims he calling from BT and will disconnect our internet line as it has proven to be hacked for 2 weeks now. I took all details and he said I could check from the number he has given. Fraud, some number from London called me claiming there was a warrant out for me for tax evasion. Which for a first point, pretty much isn't possible as I'm employed with a large company who do my taxes for me. This is the UK after all, I don't do that myself. And second, after I gave my name I asked what organisation it was that was calling me before I'd be willing to continue and they just hung up on me.
