It's genuine, but always call the bank directly!! 08453510271 and 08453510193 are automated calls from Halifax. They say your full name, and confirm if you have carried out the transactions specified, and ask for date of birth, if you did not carry out the transactions your call will be forwarded. To make sure it was real, i hung up and went on their website to get a phone number to ring them directly, and i actually did have some fradulant transactions on my card, so they cancelled my card and sent a new c

Phoned early, sounded like call centre, asked my name and then cut off. Foreign accent, Indian?

When I answered music was playing but I could hear sounds like a call centre in the background. No one spoke to me.
Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

I don't know how this number find my fixed phone number, the caller called few times my home, it is annoying as he harass me trying to sell me something I don't need, he is very persistent. I have asked him to erase all of my data from his system, he seems to ignore my demand. It might be dangerous to him give any more details, so I hung up but he doesn't understand and call back.
