Yet again a call telling me I am entitled to a new boiler. Government backed, it claims. Nonsense. I am ex-directory and these people whoever they are cannot possibly have my number legitimately.
There are some dodgy people going around London fixing stickers to peoples doorbells and front doors that say "24/7 LOCKSMITH 07379 253 353". There have been news reports that these type of stickers are used by criminals to identify which properties can later be burgled. This may or may not be the case with these stickers but any locksmith that advertises by sticking stickers on other peoples property without permission, are untrustworthy in my book. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 15137524xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing / accident chasers / PPI - but also surveys, wide scope telemarketing call centre. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

SCAM- whole week am receiving phone calls either from different mobile numbers or London area code numbers, including this one! Saying either my national insurance number has been reported ? Is there even such thing? Or now most recently informed me of the tax fraud that has been registered on my name? Then they always threaten of the legal action that will be taken , someone will investigate me or that someone will come to arrest me unless I “press ‘1’ now” if I don’t pick up they don’t leave a voicemail..
