This number rings at least once a day and its a nuisance waking me at 8:30 or earlier as I try to convalesce after a hip replacement.This is obviously a known number provided by some telecomms outfit. Is it really beyond the wit of man to shut it down ?. As for the TPS don t make me laugh !!!

To which the caller became very irate and asked for further info, I put the phone down and actually phoned Barclays customer service who confirmed this number does not belong to any barclaycard department! I received a call from this number - merely answered it and put it down as soon as I got the recorded ppi message. It then appeared on my bill as a 28 minute phone call TO this number (during which time the bill also shows I made another call!!) costing over £11. Vodafone promised to reimburse but haven t. Starts call advising it's not a sales call and there will be no charges but after 15 minutes he's presented me with prices for getting on the first page of Google. There's only so much room on the first page of Google so after 10 sales he is technically redundant. Hung up quickly when he realised I was not going to line his pockets.
