We had one of these calls. Found their number - 0161 488 3888. Gave them a call and gave them a piece of my mind! Told them to remove my number immediately which they said they would. We will see!

They repeatedly call me, asking to speak to somebody whom I've never heard of (only know the name due to them calling and asking for a Mrs Fraser?) - every time, the callers get very abusive and have sworn at me, calling me a bitch and to fuck off, when asking for my details to be removed off the system. Just called my mobile. I didn t answer but checked the number online 01225 282329 to see who they were. Found this website and comments. Called them from a landline, immediately explained to person who answered that I d received a missed call, that I d checked them up online and didn t want any further calls, and to remove my mobile number from their calling list. The man who answered was responsive immediately, polite and asked for my mobile number. Fingers crossed ....
This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

Telemarketer who would not accept that I was not interested in call. In the end had to put phone down and he tried to ring back twice, I then blocked the number from calling my phone.
