I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I am surprised nobody else has clicked on to this yet......Doesn t sound too dodgy to me. Obviously Adrian has opted for no marketing calls from Carphone Warehouse themselves. Computer fault scam. Said he was from BT! Similar otherwise to the callers who say they are from Microsoft/Windows.

They keep calling my mobile and are really beginning to bug me now!

Tried to get me to reveal my bank details. Supposed call- blocking service. Demanded immediate payment of 150 pounds! Threatened with an add on non-payment fee!suspect they are scammers.

They called me back in May offering an extra 3 GB of data for free but then my contact was reduced from 6GB to 4GB AND my bill went up £10. I did call Vodafone to sort it and they were very helpful and even refunded me. They called again today offering a free phone upgrade. Really scary how they can do this.

Rang the number back, no such number! Either a scammer or something else bad as number displayed isn?t where they are ringing from. Avoid

I don t answer calls from unknown numbers, but look them up on the Internet. Having read other people s comments I m pleased I didn t answer. Thank you all for your comments. They really helped.
