I had a call from these people again today asking for my father. I politely told him that he was not here and I got "whys that" very appropriate I think not. Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.
Does not use TPS Telephone Preference Service date when making cold calls. This is annoying as you have to tell them you don t accept unsolicited sales calls.
