Been called from this number 3 times in as many days. Last occasion I simply answered with Acton police station, can I help you ? Hopefully no more calls ! Obvious scam !
SCAM - Alleging to be from BT and said I hadn't paid my Broadband Bill - I'm not even with BT.

Recorded message received today stating that unauthorised payment of £500 taken from my debit card and sent abroad. Options given to press 1 if I knew about the transaction and to press 2 if I didn't. Ended the call without pressing any option. This njumber needs to be reported immediately and the number investigated.

Just had a call from these people saying I may be due compensation for PPI mis-selling. A) I m not B) If I were, I know that I can apply for it for free, instead of them taking a huge cut of it. So I just kept him hanging on with "I ll be with you in just a second" until he gave up :-)

SCAM said they were solicitors, but would put a file through to solicitors for me regarding the ‘accident that was not my fault, so that I would get compensation for personal injury of £3500’! Kept the lady talking, established they were given my number by another company, National incidents? Hung up when I confirmed no accident had occurred!!! How rude!

Random fund raising company, as I haven't given my details out this is a bit fishy!
Up to my eyeballs with work, but phone was ringing so had to answer it. Only to be greeted by a nuisance call offering me cheaper energy than I have now! Told them "no thank you" Asked me for my current supplier. I told them I was too busy. "how can I say no thank you when I haven t heard their offer"? I hung up & went back to work.

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Gruff sounding guy claiming to be from Vodafone. Knew my name. I’d been chosen to receive better broadband. Didn’t sound like Vodafone customer service at all.
