Scam re going to cut your internet off as if had been compromised. Second call from different numbers American accent!! Don't not press one as they demand!

See previous comment. These Jingly bar stewards just call a slightly different number making the BT call blocker a complete and utter waste of timer. BT are just a bunch of fraudsters as well and will do nothing to prevent these nuisance calls as are the Government and Offcom. Another valid point is that when someone states on their merchandise "STOPS UP TO 99% OF NUSIANCE CALLS" I would suggest that 1% is up to 99% and they should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act.

Called at 12.11 today. Claimed to be BT ringing about my internet connection. A foreign sounding female voice, and chattering in the background that sounded like a call centre.

Tried selling everything from ppi to car accident each time different

Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1183282xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Had this call today in Northern Ireland. Same as everyone else. Claiming to HMRC and a warrant issued!! Very concerning elderly people that may receive the call also.

Definitely a scam.. claiming I have an arrest warrant out for fraud, phone this number immediately ....ha ! I dont think so.
