IT’S EASY TO STOP THESE CALLS!!! Simply answer the call and pretend to be interested in what they are offering. You will probably be passed to a "manager" who will arrange for someone to visit you. Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back

I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks. Phone said number is from Paignton, England. Answered and had automatic message saying this is a call from "Fresh Contacts", I should not be alarmed and I should contact 01513290341 to remove my details from their list. VERY DODGY!!!

Another call about PPI mis-selling. I hung up.

This number called my Portuguese phone number asking to confirm if I was Carmo Silva, insisted with it which I confirmed, and hung up after it without telling me why the call and how he obtained my number. The man said he was Miguel and was calling from Global something ... is this a Scam or fraud??! Thanks.

Steve Star from some company offering legal advice and help. Asked if I d had an accident in the last 2.5 years or if someone in the family had. I asked him for the source of the information on me. He asked me what I meant? I said that if he was saying I had an accident , he must have some information on me and in that case, I had a right to know the source. He said " we help people , that s what we do" then he hung up - very helpful!!
