SCAM - pretend to be Airbnb wanting a confirmation payment working as part of a group advertising false flats via Facebook marketplace for rent to be booked through Airbnb for a couple of months before going onto a rental agreement with the ‘host’ - once money is paid they say that someone from air bnb will be in touch to hand over keys and sign agreements etc but never hear from them again.

Offered 25% return each month on investment opportunity... needed my personal details and they could transfer me to the right advisor. Asked why are they telling me about such great returns instead of investing themselves. Challenged them on the call being a scam and they hung up.

During the night I was woken by my phone ringing, it was 2am. When I answered it, there was nobody there, I was very shaken by this as I immediately thought something was wrong in the family as it was so late. My phone displays a caller list and I called the number this morning, a message said "the number you have dialled has not been recognised", how can this happen?
