Ppi claims . told me I had taken out a bank loan in 2004. I wasnt sure as I ve had a few over the years. But then after thinking about it I realised I didn t take out a loan at that time . they sent out forms and I haven t filled them in . they ve rang non stop ever since. SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. SCAM. It could be that the caller ID is being spoofed as also showed 02036126009 at exactly the same time. This may well actually well be from overseas as was an Indian sounding woman with a lot of background call centre noise. And after lots of 'hello's', they eventually mentioned they were calling about BT-Openreach Internet - Which I don't have, so when I said I know this is a scam, they just hung-up!
