Received automated call after attempting to make a payment with my card which was refused. Automated voicemail left this number to call. This number is for the Fraud line call centre in Sunderland. I was wary at first about giving details and voiced this but service advisor said if worried not legit to call number on the back of my card and will be put through to them (not pressured into giving any security info at all). Then I asked her for a company address, her supervisor name, when I could meet face to face, etc, etc. After me calling her back 5 times, the phone number was disconnected, I will try again later! :D I really hope she can answer all my questions, before I hand over my personal details!

Like the above commentors my mother received a call from Robert Watson from Windows Tech support saying the # is 02036428038. This is a scam they want you to go on your computer and go to a URL which basically a remote control website. They will then have access to your harddrive and all your data. My advice is to tell them to go to hell and hang up.

Called me claiming to be from Sky, informing me that malicious individuals are trying to hack my router. I played dumb and allowed them to get to the part where they wanted me to install TeamViewer to gain access to my computer. I gave them an earful about preying on vulnerable people, but it will have had zero effect; I just hope I cost them more money in call charges than they were expecting.
