I got eventually got angry, he passed the call to a woman holding told me off for using bad language of which you reply was that I m sick of their calls. This one seems to be the same story as the 08437240169 and 08437240171 - it seems they use more premium rate numbers for cold calling, so for any case DO NOT call them back, this is a money trap. If they answer the call, there is some fake pensions review group or similar story, be very careful before presenting them any personal data...

Have received 3 calls this week from other numbers starting 0161 to my mobile, and nw this one. They all only rang a couple of times, not long enough to look at the number and decide if I was going to answer or not, before the caller hung up. Having read the comments, I have now blocked both numbers.

SCAM "Visa / Mastercard" - obviously not ! Said £600.00 charge on my account from abroad. Sounded like an Indian Call Centre scam operation. Wanted my bank account details so they could stop the charge going through - how kind of them - but didn't know what bank ! Kept them on the line for a few minutes so one less person they can scam today before letting on that I knew they were scammers !
Assume from previous post that this is a telemarket company. I no longer pick up the phone until I hear a familiar voice or recognise the caller as genuine; then do 1471; then a ph. no. enquiry site. My friends have got used to this and it saves more aggravation.
