very dodgy! I have had several missed calls so when I answered a guy with a northern accent asked for myself (although had my maiden name and I have been married for 6years!) then he said he was calling regarding my insurance up for renewal and asked if that was correct... there was something very dodgy about this guy though as he kept repeating himself and was also laughing!!! I just apologised and said I was at work and cut him off. I have since blocked the number!

I had send a mail to HSBC and this number rang me back to discuss the matter. The woman on the other end of the line wanted me to confirm my e-mail address and then answered my query. So unless someone hacked the e-mail system of HSBC, I m pretty sure it s a legit number.

Had a feeling this was ADT, haven t confirmed it but the comments seem to strongly indicate ADT. On top of the 0161 code. Just rang now at 3.19 in the morning, about five to six rings before I d even got to it, and then stopped. Alarm not going off, and it is for our house so would like to know why they rang in the wee hours when we re sleeping.

Had a call from this number just now. He said that he is from EE and started asking a lot of questions about my contact with EE. The sort of phone I am using, how long the contract is,...etc., I got suspicion because EE should have all those details without having to ask me especially as I am still in contract with them. I guess the previous owner had to cancel the number because of debt collecter calls. I have never gave this number to anybody yet so I just ignore it. Looks like the debt collector doesnt have their address...

Fake HMRC scam number. Automated message saying there's an arrest warrant out for me, press 1 to speak to someone. Asked for my name, told them it's "Go f*ck yourself", and got called a Motherf**ker in return. Fake, do not worry, it is NOT hmrc.
