London number (fails to connect on call back) Indian voice asking to speak to Mr ......, told me I had a serious issues with my PC. When I asked him for the identity of the PC and its serial number so I could identify which of the 200 PCs at my location was the issue he blathered a bit and then when I asked him which of the Police Constables he wished to speak to he hung up. A scam call supposedly from British Telecom saying Your service will be terminated press 1 to connect to adviser press 2 to hear message again.

Picked up the phone and it was silent so I ended the call. A little later the same number called again and I let it go to answer phone and no message was left.

10 digit number. Keeps on phoning. Does not leave a message. UK numbers have 11 digits. 0149210231 We are with TPS, are ex directory, and are with BtT Call Protect.

They are a company of scammers who make money in various ways out of people who answer their calls. Do not answer their calls. Add 08005979840 to your phones blocked list.

I ve been getting calls from these scammers for close on 6 months now, quite often twice a day. I tried reporting them to BT s nuisance call bureau and they tried to sell me a phone that block international calls!!! It s strange how BT outsources a lot of it s services to India , (BT customer services, etc) and the scamming calls are also coming from India? I ve even had one of these scammers say he was with BT Internet, instead of the usual "I m from Windows services" or "I m from Microsoft Windows service

Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.

Sam, with an Indian accent, called today to ask about my recent car accident, which I haven t had. Said he was from UK Accident Airwise (not sure about this, asks him to repeat it 3 times but his accent made it hard to understand) Services. When I asked where the company office was based he put the phone down on me.

I m no longer with them but they keep ringing even tho I told them to take us off their list.
