This number rang my mobile today. Caller was male, but the line very crackly, so I was unable to catch what they were saying. Quality of the line makes me think it was being rerouted from elsewhere in the world. They haven't rung back so I can only assume it was a phishing type call. I have blocked it.

Voice at other end said he was calling about a problem with my "Virgin Media broadband". I don't have Virgin Media broadband to told him to piss off! A foreign gentleman called me from this number asking if someone had reported an accident. I got into a bit of a panic thinking my husband had been in a car accident. Turned out he wanted to know if we d reported an accident in the last 3 year. When I told him I thought my husband had been injured and that it wasn t a very clever way to start a conversation he hung up

Asked for Andrew *Undecipherable* who has never been associated with my number when asked who was calling they gave the above company name which may well be false as Google doesn t provide any information for such a company existing. When they asked me to confirm my identity I told him that it was a business line and he hung up.

Banking SCAM! suggested £300 paid to Amazon a/c (I don't have an Amazon a/c) and, £1000 sent overseas! Just put the phone down; don't take any keypad option!
Someone using this number sent a text to my husband pretending to be his daughter, saying she was using this temporary number cos she dropped her phone in the sink. Even used her name. We checked with his daughter and she didn't send it.
You re right not to call back. Why would they need you to "leave your number" when they must already have it if they ve called you twice? Very odd.
Scum of the Earth. Scam call claiming that your internet is being cut off and trying to get you to press 1 on keypad. I work for that internet provider and can GUARANTEE you this is not genuine. I hope these people are found and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
