An Asian female called and was very difficult to understand - something about a survey. Replied "No thank you" and I hung up. Number now blocked. We are registered with the TPS, but these calls still get through.

I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. Either way, you know it s a scam. I like to have fun with them. They have all been Filipino until today where the caller was of African descent. They purport to be a government agency refunding bank fees. My belief is that they are scammers.

Thanks for the advice. They have been calling me twice a day for three weeks now. I have also now blocked their number!

Called and asked for my husband. I said not available. The very well spoken gentleman asked to leave his number. I asked what it was regarding and he said the estate of *****. I was instantly suspicious as I had not heard of the company in relation to the estate. So I said I hadn t heard of them, he said because we have been speaking to ******.
