All good in the hood

have answered twice unidentified caller not in a english language could not understand but still keeps ringing i just switch off

Scam HRMC impersonator, claims to be from a London Address with a Manchester Phone Number... overseas dial tone, clear scam attempt.

Internet search suggests this is the "Windows Technical Support" scam.

I recieved a call from this saying it was lending stream. It hasn t gave me an answer. How do I find out?

Had a very similar number on 03/03/2020, except only one zero at the start, not two like yours. No message was left.

PPI - offering to check my finances for me. As if!

My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. Started with hard sale on Carbon emmisions and he unfortunately has since gone on to invest large sums of money in gems and oil. Portfolio of investment was supposed to go to auction Dec 13. Suprise however - company states had to stop trading as under investigation but investment still safe!! Have since reported to police/action fraud but feer money gone ( life savings). Automated voice message saying from fraud department about illegal activity on phone. After personal details when challenged they hung up.

accidentally cut them off when called back as I was expecting a delivery there was an automated message, You were called today by Media Match..... I then hung up as not interested in any cold calling.

Had a feeling this was ADT, haven t confirmed it but the comments seem to strongly indicate ADT. On top of the 0161 code. Just rang now at 3.19 in the morning, about five to six rings before I d even got to it, and then stopped. Alarm not going off, and it is for our house so would like to know why they rang in the wee hours when we re sleeping.

the number is from peninne acute trust, they ring to check if you are keeping or they are cancelling an appointment that has been sent out to you

Very rude woman called. Initially all polite "I m calling from "Eco" - (something I could not hear) - "how are you today"? When I said suspicious of calls like this, she turned nasty - "you re not much of a man if you are scared of a cold call". Beware. Probably scammers.

AO (Appliances on-line). Have phoned me 4/5 times over the past couple of weeks. Haven't picked up - selling "extended warranty" for appliances bought a year ago.
