Saying that the 'books for school' campaign has finished and that they'd like to say thanks by sending the books to a school of my choice. She then piles in with the 'you said you'd like the £175 to be addressed to your business for tax purposes.' Errrrrr no. None of the conversation was ringing bells but this certainly wasn't. I received a disgusting/offensive call today from a woman you said I'd been in a care accident recently. I replied saying I wasn't, as I don't have a car and she then went on to call me a "Bus W*ER".

Call from 01132989890 claim from sainsburys energy. Said I had to install smart meter and was put out when I said I wasn't having one - said I had to and was very rude and bossy. I said it wasn't lawful then gave her a few choice words before putting the phone down on her.

this number called claiming to be government official that had details that bank interest had not been applied accurately so they wanted to pay this back via cheque the female knew my name date of birth and full address asked if i was able towalk to the bank i responded that i would call the bank myself she hung up. another scam against people of a certain age trying to get bank details BEWARE!!!

SCAM Called me asking me by my name talking about my life assurance. I dont have any. And when I pressed about what the call was about it was to adjust or something the policy. Again I questioned this, they hung up. No callback as yet. If it was genuine I'm sure they would have.

SCAM. Received an SMS from this number saying suspicious activity on an HSBC account and to follow the link given. Checked with HSBC who confirmed it is a Phishing Scam

This number should be a landline from Wolverhampton - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet, just reported as nuisance... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?

Obnoxious fast talking scouser - not sure what he was selling cos I told him where he could shove himself.....

SCAM Said they were ringing me from the UK Benefit Department. As soon as I said they weren't they hung up. These are the same people who say they work for Beneficial/ring about a road traffic accident in the last 2 years/ring about your life insurance policy or any other thing they can think of to try to get sensitive information out of you. They never succeed with me but yet they keep trying almost every day.
