Cold called by 01947464988 this morning, no-one answered, and all I could here was office like background noise before the call eventually went dead.

Received a call, foreign voice said ringing about accident I d had. They managed to get my name, address and accident details and sent me an email which they wanted me to open and click on the attachment to provide authority for them to send out documents for me to claim compensation. I told them I didn t need to claim compensation as only very minor whip lash, however they were very insistent saying that didn t matter and I was entitled to £3000 compensation. rang me on my mobile told me my name, stated he was from an unaudiable ins company. Told me my address AND car registration No. Said I ahd been in an accident and was earmarked £1000. I told him I had not been in accident, asked who he was and his company, he hung up.

I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!
