I answered and didn t speak (my usual gig on mobiles too, when called by an unknown or unrecognised number); a man s voice said "hello, hello, hello..." then "la la la la" then hung up. Poor thing, must be driven mental by people who answer but don t engage...about time the worm turned? This line is new, ex-directory and only my Dad & Stepmum have this number. I think they must use a computer system dialler that just goes through and dials potential/ actual live numbers? Whatev

Constant barrage of calls from this number always wanting to speak to the account holder, then to ask questions like name, dob, address.. just to confirm the account information? Well.. I made all the info up.. and passed the apparent acount security check!! What a joke. Marketing preferences are all unchecked so they shouldn t even be calling. Yes this is an apparent service call from TalkTalk however, they did also try to sell additional services. Time to make an official complaint.

Claiming I had a car accident and they can help with the claim, when challenged how they obtained my number (registered on TPS) they became very aggressive and abusive. Clearly they operating some sort of scam. Once you begin to challenge them they shut down they will hang up and place you on hold and refuse to give any credible information which would allow you to then report the issue appropriately to get them shutdown.

This number rings at least once a day and its a nuisance waking me at 8:30 or earlier as I try to convalesce after a hip replacement.This is obviously a known number provided by some telecomms outfit. Is it really beyond the wit of man to shut it down ?. As for the TPS don t make me laugh !!!
