SCAM: Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT, who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. My internet & line will be disconnected. Press 1 to speak to an ‘executive’ to rectify this. The call supposedly came from the Turks and Caicos Islands UK Representative, Baker St, London. Probably a spoofed number.

Rings 5 or 6 times an afternoon wanting to sell a PPI refund (which is not relevant to us), has been told numerous times not to call back and that we re not interested, but the phone rings again 20 minutes later (or the following day). Number keeps calling, finally answered and they said they called to help with my £17,000 debt which I don't even have but they said they can see if from my record in front of them. I don't know where they got this information from or who made it but it was completely false and fraudulent so slightly worried now.
