I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! They will take your details and sell you Eastern Europeans who then in turn sell you to Albanians who then in turn will sell you to an IVA introducer who will then it turn sell you to an Insolvency Practitioner as a packaged case. SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Called with message about unauthorized payment from my debit card, if it wasn't you press 1. I did out of interest. Spoke with a man with Indian accent. He knew my name and surname which is highly unnerving. He said a payment of £900 and something pounds had been taken from my debit card. I replied "oh no, it wasn't me, can you help me?". He said yes, he needed some information. I asked which bank debit card? He said Amazon then hung up. Seriously!

The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.

Rec'd a scam text from apple pay about needing to accept updated T&C. Apple do not communicate via text, the text had a clickable link, and I don't have apple pay anyway, so the scammer was never going to fool me!

Mechanical voice. Supposed to be from HMRC threatening arrest for unpaid tax. Clearly a scam.

This number calls claiming to be from HMRC, they say they have discrepancies in your tax return and your national insurance number will be suspended if they are not correct. At this point I hung up.

Robot voice claiming to be visa. Visa does not call people like this, it is definitely a scam

Spoof number. It doesn’t actually exist, so you can’t call them back. Just Indian call centre committing fraud. Do not answer. Block the number.

SCAM This call is related to energy and initially sounds like a live person but if you don't respond it becomes clear it is pre recorded. Be very careful about responding with "Yes" or "No" answers as your voice response can sometimes be used for other potentially fraudulent purposes

Indian call centre. Will try and persuade you to open windows event viewer and tell you the warnings in there are the result of being hacked.

SPAM Called me 8 times today between 11:35am and 1:03pm. The first 2 times disturbing my child who u was trying to get to nap. I eventually answered the call and they said something about financial services ltd Number blocked If it's important leave a voicemail, and not just a voicemail where all I can hear is you breathing!

This number call me to Portugal. I don't know any people who live in England, so i google it and saw its a number who sails financial products. Seems a scheme
