Had a couple of these calls in last few days. The first one I didn't answer, todays one I did but there was nobody on the other end, just silence.

I m a student and find receiving silent calls unnerving.

I have not had an accident, hence I called them scammers and I hung up, the indian lady called me back and said I should not call them scammers and she could sue me for it because she is from a law firm and hung up on me, what a joke... shaking in my boots, NOT.

called the number back. message says it was a marketing company called GFK who were calling about a survey.

Called but left no message. The telephone number relates to the JCUH at Middlesbrough and I believe the call is to remind patients of an appointment at the hospital. When I phoned it back I was told to ring 01642 850850.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Called my mobile 6 times yesterday and I answered it today and I had an Indian gentleman asked me something and I had to get him to repeat himself and I think it was a survey I blocked the number and have now been called by another number but no-one there
