SCAM / SPAM Scam call claiming to be calling from Sky, telling me to switch my computer on as there is a problem with my internet. Told her I'm not a Sky customer and my internet is working fine, then I hung up. Obviously a scam to try and access people's devices and details for nefarious purposes.

A recorded message advising me to answer the call or ring back, otherwise I would be facing criminal proceedings. I just blocked the number.
Sent me information on buying carbon credits after me avoiding them for weeks - now they are trying to ring me 4 times a day - I just reject the call now ..... Shame I through all their stuff in the bin as I can t remember the name or address to write to stop them calling plus they never leave messages with is even more annoying !!!!

Had a call this morning from a man claiming to work for a company called "First Pass", asking about an RTA I was supposed to have been involved in. I asked how he got my details and requested that they be deleted from their data-base. I have never been in an RTA, and am on TPS to prevent cold-callers. He persisted in trying to obtain more information from me and when I refused to answer, he hung up. If they call again, I shall report them to Ofcom.

18 Oct 2021 - Scam. They ask you to press 1 to get in contact with "an officer" on threat of NIN suspenion. I after getting called 2nd time I did press that 1, waited for about a minute, and got some dude reading out a script. He hung up when I asked why are they calling me xDReply

Called asking for the man next door who I know has a debt as he has given my address and many letter have arrived here for him, which I take next door. It is to do with a parking ticket and I have had bailliffs at the door too and told them where he lives. Therefore I think this is a legitimate call. Calls are at least - being stopped by Call Guardian which is built into the phone. So, the phone rings once, the Guardian kicks in and asks for the caller s identity. However, since this has never been given (and any such call is then terminated by Guardian), we assume they coming from an automated system. We just wish the system would give up on us!
