I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager. Just had a very strange phone call to my mobile from 1135181884 a Leeds number telling me he was sending me 10 free goes on the national lottery, I asked what the catch was he said none . Another cold call scam. Preying on the vulnerable. If it is so important to talk to me, why not leave a message asking me to call back, instead of hanging up and phoning back later? Like normal people do. Because they want to catch me unawares, on the hop as it were, to get their greasy foot in the door while I m flustered. Maybe try and steal some data from me while they are at it. Why is this practice not illegal already?
