Said not interested and hung up - the woman rang straight back and started to become abusive. I exploded and told her rather impolitely where to go. She stated she would ring back every day just to annoy me! According to web search, this is a number based in India and they are just attempting to extort money from us!

Received call on landline at 7.49pm today. A female voice with a non local accent said she was calling from microsoft and asked for the main owner of the computer. I said no I am practising music, strummed a few notes, and she rang off. Clearly cannot recognise talent.

They said they were calling regarding a personal matter on behalf on a mutual client but could not tell me any more information until I confirmed by details. This person has whatsapped me a few times in the middle of the night just to say hi. I live in South Africa and do not know him at all. Today he whatsapped me again and even called me! I blocked his number and am trying to find out where he got my number from. I definitely do not want to be friends with him.

Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. Also called me up to 12 times a day from number 01253271789. As other victims have reported sometimes they put the phone down when you answer, sometimes they ask for you by name and when you answer put the phone down. Why???? what is the point? Finally once when I called them back I got to speak to a supervisor called Stuart who has promised to stop the calls - we ll see......

Fraud , indian female , claiming she was from virgin media, asking if i was aware my broadband would be cut off in a couple of hours as there had been a lot of illegal activity from my account. she hung up after i pushed her to give me information about my account. i am not sure whether it was passwords or payments she was after but she got nada from me and hung up.
