I have received 2 computer generated messages about an Amazon account from this number. On the surface it appears to be a local number but I believe it is a scam.

SCAM from Vietnam hangs up after a few rings.

SCAM Claims to be HMRC, asks you to push one as they are “shortly going to initiate legal action against you”. Press one and it’s “Richard William” with an Asian accent… asking for all of your details as you need to make an urgent payment… I told him that you called me, you know my details surely if you’re going to start legal action… he hung up????

Unknown number. Came up with warning from my antivirus protection that this was already reported as fraud. Didn't answer. Reporting it here and via my phone. Blocked now, for what that's worth ... they just roll over to a new number

Suppose to be online banking with news of unconfirmed transactions of £700 to Amazon. Don’t reply go direct to ur bank if concerns.

This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.

SCAMThis number called me about a £600 debit from my visa card. An man with an Indian accent asked me for my bank sort code I asked which sort code and he said the one from my visa debit card. I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. Fraud this number keeps texting me saying it is my "eldest" and they have lost their phone and need me to pay for this new phone. However, when I ask them their name, they just say "eldest". I dont actually have children, so this must be a fraud act.

Got call from the number the guy said calling from EDF energy and asked for which energy provider you are using I responded with why you need this information then the call got disconnected immediately got call after few minutes from the same number and now been told calling from British gas and started asking for details about current supplier.

SCAM - Claims to be from Santander saying 'we have declined a card payment of £194.80 to EASYJET ltd. If this was not you reply 'N' to +447957349640 I have nothing to do with Santander.

Call from 07477 109562 at 10:35 on 05.06.2023 - I remained silent; the line remained silent Call from 07477 150182 at 15:57 on 07.06.2023 - {as above) Call from 07477 133622 at 15:35 on 16.06.2023 - Automated call stating "a letter had sent a week ago by HMRC and had been ignored. Court action was now under way. Press 1 to speak to an officer." I did this immediately, and a man with a near Asian accent, politely asked;"Can I help you?"
