I have just been called by this lot tonight and offered a ?2000 rebate as I d paid my council tax on time for several years!!! She asked how I d like to recieve my money and I asked for a cheque which I knew would be legit if she did but she asked me to ring the number and talk to her boss but it had to be immediate. I didnt ring back.

Trustworthy caller - calling regarding a case that I had raised with an energy provider.
Had an automated cll from this number stating it was Lloyds bank fraud prevention and I should either press ‘1’ or call them back. The voice also read out my full name correctly. I thought this was unusual but I hah had difficulty in using my Lloyds card around 30 minutes earlier in Sainsburys. This number does not appear to be the correct Lloyds fraud number at all. Be wary

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive. These people call me at least 6 times a day. (They have been doing so for about 3 weeks). They are looking for someone I ve never heard of and I ve had this phone number for 14 years. I have called back repeatedly and told them and they have "promised" to take me of their "DIALLER" but they continue to call. No messages are left when I let the answer phone pick up the calls. I am at my wits end!
