Received a call, foreign voice said ringing about accident I d had. They managed to get my name, address and accident details and sent me an email which they wanted me to open and click on the attachment to provide authority for them to send out documents for me to claim compensation. I told them I didn t need to claim compensation as only very minor whip lash, however they were very insistent saying that didn t matter and I was entitled to £3000 compensation. Possible scammer, woman with very strong Indian accent claimed she was calling from Sky to check my internet connection. She was very convincing and tried to get me to type in a code on my PC and that was when I knew it was a scam so I hung up. Be on your guard!

Rang my home no today, no message left. I rang back, automated line says “This is Guys & St. Thomas Hospital. Don’t worry, we’ll call you back - if it’s urgent”. What?! First they send me a letter last week (3 pages!) to say I don’t fit their criteria for dental treatment, then they phone with this. I assume I’ll never get a return call as they already think I’m not urgent enough to treat anyway!

This number called me to say that my number has been used in a serious number of crimes and my national insurance number will be suspended if I don’t press 1 to talk to someone. This isn’t real as the police would ring me directly or turn up at my house, not use an automated voice message to tell me. I hung up instead of pressing 1.
