I keep getting numerous unsolicited calls on my phone. I never answer them and I immediately block them but I keep on receiving more calls.
SCAM Left a voicemail which starts halfway through a computer voice saying something about my number has been found ‘suspicious for a number of illegal activities’. ‘It’s very time sensitive and urgent that we hear back from you before we proceed further with suspension of your national insurance number, your assets and arrest you. Please press 1 to speak to an officer, I repeat, press 1 to speak with an officer. Thank you’.

Got a missed call today . I called back again then a moron answered saying it s a wrong number.
left message on mobile claiming to be amazon checking on large purchase made from account wanting me to contact with authorisation code- called them back several times - from diff telephone no, and from withheld no, they kept hanging up on me when they realised I hadnt been taken in by their scam.. so i kept on calling them back - just to annoy them.. got to the point they hung up. knew was scam as same person answered the phone every time, anyone whos phone amazon , knows you NEVER get the same person :D

Phone rang, I picked it up, voice garbled something as these people always do to introduce themselves. Of course I could not make out one word of it. I said "Mumble that again in English." he said, "pardon, So I said very slowly and deliberately as if talking to a two year old "Mumble that again in English." He then put the phone down. Number text me saying it was HALIFAX. I dont have a HALIFAX.
The caller gave this number saying they were from Google about my entry on google maps and that they were going to help me fix the problem I had to get customers to find me. There s nothing wrong with my entry. So I played along and when asked for my name said it was George Bush. Apparently I should get a call back later today as I said I was too busy. Beware, this is just usual scam.

This number called me to say that my number has been used in a serious number of crimes and my national insurance number will be suspended if I don’t press 1 to talk to someone. This isn’t real as the police would ring me directly or turn up at my house, not use an automated voice message to tell me. I hung up instead of pressing 1.

I keep telling them my landlord is responsible and I have nothing to do with the utilities account and they say ok we will take you off the list, but I am received calls every 30 mins from similar numbers with a Blackpool area code.
