I had a call today from a South African sounding lady, from London number 020 8089 6127 said she was calling from a company called Teabag that got my suspicions up straight away, asked to speak to me by name, so she already had my name and phone number somehow. Said that she understood, I had lost money in an investment and would I like to get it back, I asked how she got my name and phone number and she immediately hung up. This is obviously a scam,

Its a scam I receive a dubious voicemail from this number "report these transactions" then a few seconds silence then "Thank you for calling" I rang the number to see if they were pretending to be my bank but I got put through to a locksmith based in Bournemouth to which I explained my reason for calling and they replied that it was probably a scam and if they call me again to ignore it. "David", in his very difficult-to-understand accent, said he was calling from '3' about upgrading my phone. Do I have an iPhone or a Samsung? I don't even have a contract with 3, so this has got to be some sort of scam. I rang off.

Fraud - claiming to be an IT company called 'Serra'

Fraud: 09011490180 has been billed by Virgin Media as 3 outgoing calls from my Landline but my wife and I have not made these calls. The calls were apparently made on the 18th of April at 11.03, 11.18 and 11.40 with each call lasting exactly 11.06 minutes costing 35 pounds each. So far Virgin Media have refused to investigate these calls and demand payment. It is obviously some king of scam, which should be highlighted as soon as possible and safeguards put in place!
