Another cold call scam. Preying on the vulnerable. If it is so important to talk to me, why not leave a message asking me to call back, instead of hanging up and phoning back later? Like normal people do. Because they want to catch me unawares, on the hop as it were, to get their greasy foot in the door while I m flustered. Maybe try and steal some data from me while they are at it. Why is this practice not illegal already?

Rang my work number so figured it was probably a scam number. Disconnected as soon as I answered.

Recorded message saying "This is a call from the Future Planning Team. This is not an important call." It carried on but I hung up and blocked the number.

Keeps calling at all hours. Either hangs up or you can hear people in call centre in the back ground

Call center English accent Asked for me by a fake name I use on websites who ask for details. I said there was no one by that name and they put the phone down

I took this call for my employer his lordship, the caller did not leave their details so did not pass on the callers request they asked whom I was told them I was his Lordships butler and the caller just kept saying the same word over sounded like oh or why could not make out the callers voice I was told to just hang up to which I did, I would advise anyone to do the same action.

Again Jennifer Coleman from HMRC. They would write to named person, cause of action letter, would never leave message as don t know who would pick up. Could scare people into ringing them back. Ambulance Chasers Calling about an accident 18 months ago. They said that it was possible to claim compensation without providing evidence to back it up (money for nothing) etc....
