Called me about 9am this morning; no message left.

Aggressive pension company avoid

Female caller with an Asian accent rang from this number twice today. Said she was from Benefits UK. I asked who Benefits UK is, and she replied "A company", and wanted to ask me some questions, which would only take a couple of minutes. I replied that I do not answer questions over the phone, and she hung up. A couple of hours later, the number rang again, and my daughter answered. She told the caller that our number is ex directory and that we are TPS registered. Again, the caller hung up.

Clarity is a charity who sell their products over the telephone. I am not too sure how they obtain the numbers that they call.

They are an Indian call centre who use spoof caller ID numbers. Do not trust them! Block them with a call blocker (you may need to block VOIP calls)or answer the call something like this: "This is the FBI - we have you surrounded! Come out with your hands up! All units - GO! GO! GO!" That should make them hang up!

I think this may have originated from a survey I started but stopped when I realised I would be getting a load of junk calls.

Rang at 6.30pm - I didn t recognise number so let ansafone take it - they didn t leave a message. I checked on this site to see who they were, so when the same number rang again at 7.20pm I answered (to wind them up!). male caller quoted guessed personal information and insisted I had agreed to some sort of "Cash back" sheme, having discussed it at my door 2 months ago - wanted to confirm my postcode etc. When I denied ever speaking or agreeing to this he hung up on me mid conversation

It's a company called PDCS - they are a Debt Collection company

I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

I have told them I am in dispute with the company which has employed them but they keep calling and saying they want to talk to me. I wrote to them and told them that I do not accept calls as everything must be in writing. They do not stop despite the industry rules.
