capquest rang saturday morn 9:15 and off another number with the same code on monday, i haven?t even had a letter or email to tell me about my complaint case being passed to them instead of dealt with as expected.

Anon, Myrtle s comment is correct at that date. It is, or was, a technical help number for out of warranty BT phones. Bit cheeky of them to use a premium rate number, though.

Had this call 11.30 today. Well spoken young man says " I hope i ve got the right number, can i speak to Mr (My Surname)". . .i ask which one as there are three Mr (My Surname) at this address. He then shouts something garbled down the phone and hangs up! 07712657744 is now well and truly BLOCKED!!

Getting calls from this number almost daily, and when answered they just hang up - no voice, no message. Have blocked it on my handset but still keeps getting through.

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Repeated calls to my mobile which have been left unanswered and show as missed call . On the one occasion it was answered, I was offered a free electical assessment which I declined and asked that I would be taken off their call list
