01455 236000 has been pestering me with silent calls on both my landline and mobile. We believe that the caller might be from the Hinckey area and despite trying to block it on my mobile we have received umpteen calls from a "private number" How can we stop them from pestering us?

I would like to know who's number this is as I get a lot of nuisance calls
SCAM Cold caller, pretending to be working on behalf of Microsoft advising me that I am being targeted by hackers. Goes through a spiel involving talking me through looking at the 'event viewer' utility on my PC and asking me to note the number 'Administrative events' with warnings listed in the viewer. This he advisies means that I am under attack - (BTW it does not). The tries to talk me into downloading 'anydesk' - I did not because it would allow access to my PC.

This Indian fella rings me every couple of weeks always calls me by a different first name usually as far as it gets but today I stopped him and told him my first name then says he s from some fraud investigation unit asked how I was I said was ok till you rang and got my name wrong his reply was so what s your fuckin name repeated it about 5 times I said who you think your talking to and he put phone down tryd ringing the number but it s dead or something

different persons call from this phone number, telling that our company's electricity contract is expired and required immediately get the new one, that is real spam, calling a few times every day, speaking really rude, today was received 7 calls during one minute, about 20 calls a day. Likely scam. They rang me. I picked up but didn't say anything into the phone. They didn't say anything either and then hung up. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

Claimed to be from Sky. Haven't been with Sky for five years, and told the guy he's obviously making a scam call. He hung up quickly.
Nasty pieces of work. It is nasty people from Unite, that so-called trade union who are notorious in the (TV and radio) news for selling out clients to 3rd parties, colluding with employers of their own membership, and selling s**t like stannah stair lifts, private health insurance, Unite s own credit card, enhanced legal services for divorces, deaths of kids and other stuff nobody asked for. They hang up, when challenged for their surnames and call centre location.
