SCAM Female operator trying to tell me the company she worked for controlled my broadband and that i could be getting a better rate. When i declined and requested she didn't call me again, she became very argumentative to the point she was shouting down the phone.

Supposedly Amazon Customer Services recorded message call saying a £700 order quoting a fictitious order number has been frozen, press 1 to cancell the order.

The man on the phone was a an Indian guy saying that he was calling from virgin meadia and my iPhone address was found in America. They wanted to get my details .

Automated call, supposedly from Visa, advising of a pending payment of £900 from my account - the usual scam call ("press 1 to speak to an advisor," and then they try to get your bank details.)

Asian woman said her name was Carol (as if) told me I lived at a house I moved from in 2015. Asked who I had life insurance with and started arguing with me when I told her that's none of her business. She kept repeating aviva, bupa, sunlife is your life insurance with those. I kept saying its nothing to do with you. Then she hung up.

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be &quot;running security&quot; for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have &quot;seen problems on the line&quot;. When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. I told them I was on Grain, and then they just imediately hung up. Obvious fraud scam.
