I answered this call as the number is local. A recorder voice said “ thank you for making an order at Amazon” . I have not ordered from Amazon so put the phone down. No idea how or why it came up with a local Folkestone / Cheriton number. 01303275721

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

Automat Had a call from this number today. It was automated, and stated that a warrant has been issued for my arrest for tax evation. Had to laugh, as I don't pay tax as I am retired. For anyone who believes these calls, it can be very worrying.
The caller gave this number saying they were from Google about my entry on google maps and that they were going to help me fix the problem I had to get customers to find me. There s nothing wrong with my entry. So I played along and when asked for my name said it was George Bush. Apparently I should get a call back later today as I said I was too busy. Beware, this is just usual scam.
