I have had about a call a day from these people. Have now managed to put them onto caller barred on my phone. I told them I was on TPS, but they told me as they were not selling me anything that didn t matter. This is now getting towards being harassment.7y327

I had a missed call from this number and having read here that it was a debt collection company I panicked that I had forgotten to pay something! Someone called me on this number this morning twice while I was in a meeting. I called back and someone called Mark answered. I did not give my details but asked why he had called me and he put the telephone down. I rang back but it just rings and rings. They/he has tried to call me a further five times today already(seven times in all) and it is only 3.50 pm. HELP.

I received a lot of calls last week from 02039662273. It seems from London but when I answer they don t speak so I don t know what they want. Possible scam I believe.

Left a message on my ansafone claiming to be from Sarah Wilson at HMRC and threatening legal action if I or my solicitor didn t call them back immediately! Called back and spoke to a male with an Asian accent who gave his name as Kevin. He eventually hung up when I insisted on speaking to Sarah Wilson. I called HMRC who confirmed this is not a genuine call from them!

This is a computer scam. I played along in order to waste their time and to get insight into their methods. There is a warm-up act and a main act to follow. Their first tactic is to say they will cut off your computer unless you cooperate. They take you to Event Viewer administrative events in order to show you a scary page with yellow warning triangles and red error messages. Then to another caller for their main strike.
