My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! Missed this call rang the number back and it came up invalid number

I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

Same spam email sent pretending that they called you, asking you to return call. The owner of the domain is "Bee Internet Ltd" however I wouldn t be surprised if it s just a dodgy registrar that used their details to register a customers domain. This will come back to bite them as they end up responsible for this spam.
