usual spam caller, puts phone down when answered. When called back the automated taking person sounds dodgy so avoid it.

International call claiming to be from BT. Chinese woman indicating a paymnet was due. Terminated the call.

Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.

My local police community support officer said these stickers have been used by criminals and recommended finding a locksmith through a telephone directory or online. Never call the number on a sticker that has been afixed to your doorbell without permission. If in doubt, contact your local police.

Hi I have gotten about 4 missed calls from +442890438150. If i answer it goes dead. My mobile rings about 3 times and then it goes. I trying to block my number on my mobile. I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

Any ideas? Seems an odd number . I don t answer numbers I don t know but this one has intrigued me.

Best cold call ever. I answered, I was asked for by name and I asked who was calling. The fella said AMS Legal so I said I m not interested and put the phone down. They called back straight away and straight off the same person said what are you not insterested in? - I laughed and said are you for real to which he replied yes, very much and you ll never know about the opportunity that you ve just missed out on and hung up. I wish they were all as entertaining as this. I ve blocked and reported

This number is Amplicon, presumably their sales dept.

These people are SCUM - fell over today to answer my telephone,and have a massive bruise to show for it.
