SCAM. An Asian sounding man who called himself Simon called me to say my washing machine warranty had run out. Seeing as our washing machine is about 15 or more years old I do not doubt it. I told him not to try and scam me as I had had these sort of calls before, and hung up. I have since blocked the number.

I have been bombarded with calls from this number for over a month now. A company calls me almost every day from India introducing themselves as PPI Reclaim. Depending on what I m doing at the time, I either just hang up, tell them I never had PPI, or ask them to stop calling. Have received numerous calls from this number however they keep hanging up when I answer the phone. I called them back only to be greeted by an automated message telling me that I could remove my details simply by pressing number 2. I did this and since then the calls have increased to 4 or 5 calls a day. I have now blocked the number from my phone.
