left message on mobile claiming to be amazon checking on large purchase made from account wanting me to contact with authorisation code- called them back several times - from diff telephone no, and from withheld no, they kept hanging up on me when they realised I hadnt been taken in by their scam.. so i kept on calling them back - just to annoy them.. got to the point they hung up. knew was scam as same person answered the phone every time, anyone whos phone amazon , knows you NEVER get the same person :D

Automatic message saying they are calling from HRMC and that if you don't press number 1 you'll be arrested. If you press 1 they put you on hold and then someone answers saying «HRMC how can I help you?». If you say «I don't know, you called me». Then they hang up. Probably they are trying to fish personal data.
Scam call claiming to be from BT, trying to gain access to my computer. Checked with BT, who confirmed it was a common scam.
They want help with a cold calls and it also does not cost much. They promise 100 percent fewer calls. It is itself just a cold call.

Tells me I have been identified has having and industrial injury and wants to act on my behalf. I have never had such an injury. The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. Same call the next day!.

Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. Fraud I was phoned from a number (07868714968), an automated message stated that my national insurance number was linked with criminal activity and will be suspected, press 1 to speak to an officer or be arrested... (not the exact wording). I did not press 1, stayed on the call, and it disconnected a few seconds later.
Several times a day. Answered once and could hear noises in background but no-one spoke: now don t answer but check number afterwards. Harassing to say the least.
