Received a call, couldn't take it, but caller never left message so I Checked BT 1471 later, which came up with 01752365182. Called the number back, kept ringing, no reply!

Also phone me with some details of a recent claim, defiantly a scam caller, check with genuine insurer

This is one of many numbers on a scam/spam rampage. Ive tracked the number to a street in liverpool, but i m not sure if they are using a proxy or not. I have a name of the operator and told them to take my number off ALL the numbers databases....Short to say I have been phoned a few days later, from the same office or complex. Number checked out as British Gas, as I d only spoken to them 30 mins ago I presume it was a survey, my call minder blocked it.

I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.

Getting calls from this number almost daily, and when answered they just hang up - no voice, no message. Have blocked it on my handset but still keeps getting through.
