Answered the first 2 calls from this number to hear an Asian sounding voice - in the first instance telling me I had a Windows problem and the second time telling me I had a BT line problem. As I was aware of this scam, in both instances I told them to "get lost" and hung up. Since then they have been ringing me several times a day but since I have caller identity I ignore it. This is plain harassment.

They said _I had been in a car accident, when I said I don t drive they hung up on me. This number has rung me at least 4 times telling me this.

This number called me today saying they were from Amazon when I thought it was a scam call I hung up and blocked it, it then rang twice more from different numbers which I also blocked, it hasn't called since so I now know it was a scam call so beware.

This number attempted to call me twice today, once at around 10:00 am and a second time at 1:00 pm. I picked up the latter call and the guy wanted me to confirm who I was, I asked for further details (without confirming mine) and the man said his name was 'Arnold' but refused to tell me anything about the purpose of the call. He then got annoyed that I wasn't prepared to confirm my name. I pointed out that his call was unsolicited and rang off.

Marketing calls using a different name every day actually selling PPI. Keep phoning up to 5 times a day using random call centre dialling. Just let the phone go on to answer phone (if it rings that long) at least that way it costs them a call. In theory if no one answers numbers like this that they don t recognise then they will have no joy and call centres will be eradicated once and for all ... well in theory any way!!!
