SCAM Have had numerous calls from this and variations on this number. All from Indian people pretending to have British names (Ellie, Ian, Simon, Brian and Rachel are a few) Claiming to be calling from 'The UK Citizen Adwice' and asking for details of my 'debt' (I have none)
Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. I have no idea who called me. It rang once. I picked up the phone and the caller was gone. I do not know if this is nuisance call, scam or a mistake. My number and all other ones are recycled. It could be a mistake.
not sure what they want they speak awfully fast but make it clear their not selling anything they just want opinions. I gave them my opinion... F off and don t call back!! Didn t work :(
