I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks. Fraud I was phoned from a number (07868714968), an automated message stated that my national insurance number was linked with criminal activity and will be suspected, press 1 to speak to an officer or be arrested... (not the exact wording). I did not press 1, stayed on the call, and it disconnected a few seconds later.
SCAM On answering got a pre-record of serious sounding older man stating there was an issue with my national insurance number and fraudulent activity and to press 1 for help (likely to a premium rate number) and to then sure to go and ask me to share my personal details. Definitely a scam.
