Called answerphone - hung up immediately - so blocked number and reported to BT
They called twice today. Within 2 minutes. Plonkers. All I get on my answerphone is two tones. Do they expect me to ring back? As I have an internet phone number, I do not have a handset, It is there for any plonkers to ring. If I need to leave my number to anyone I have not done business with direct then I expect to receive these sh1t calls. That's why I have one of these numbers.

Didn?t know who they were calling, and when I said not to call again asked who I was and if this was my personal number. I replied due to GDPR you should know who I am and who you are calling. Annoying call centre,noise back ground, would mot trust even if i knew who was calling

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
